If you arrived here from your bank. You are probably deciding whether to let this app see an account. Here is the short answer: it can read balances and positions, it cannot move money or place a trade, it never receives your banking password, and you can disconnect it at any time — which permanently deletes both the stored access and the data.
Gentle Justie shows an individual their financial position across the accounts they choose to connect: cash, credit, brokerage and crypto, combined into a single net-worth figure with history, allocation, and a list of holdings. Alongside it, the app publishes its own market analysis, generated from public market data.
That analysis is identical for every user. It is not derived from, influenced by, or personalised using anyone's holdings.
Move money, transfer funds, place a trade, or change anything at your institution. This is not a policy choice that could be reversed in an update — every connection is provisioned read-only at the source, and the app is built without any money-movement capability at all.
There is no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking of any kind. Data is never sold or shared for advertising.
Disconnect an institution in the app, or from your bank's own connections page, and the stored credential is destroyed first — making it cryptographically unrecoverable — followed by every balance and position derived from it.
